Living Our Mission: Turning Purpose into Action
October 2025
In 2025, the SPCA of Texas introduced a new mission statement: Creating
a brighter future for animals, people, and the community. Shaped through
thoughtful reflection and collaboration, this mission affirms the
organization’s commitment to compassionate care, community partnership,
and long-term impact.
That commitment came to life in October 2025, when donors, foundations, and
community leaders gathered for the Care Unleashed cornerstone unveiling.
More than a construction milestone, the event symbolized the organization’s
promise to put its mission into action through meaningful investment in
people, programs, and facilities.
Thanks to early donor leadership and belief, the Stephens Greth Foundation
Campus and the Addy Foundation Animal Recovery Center and is being built to
reflect these values, with spaces designed for healing, dignity, and connection.
Through Care Unleashed, the SPCA of Texas is embedding accountability,
excellence, and compassion into its future.
This moment marked a shared commitment to ensuring that every animal,
every family, and every neighbor benefits from a mission that is lived every day.
Service Enterprise Reaccreditation:
Donor Investment That Multiplies Impact

In 2025, the SPCA of Texas earned reaccreditation as a Service
Enterprise Certified Organization, affirming excellence in
volunteer engagement. This achievement reflects donor
investment in strong systems, training, and leadership that
allow volunteers to serve as true mission partners. For donors,
Service Enterprise reaccreditation is a sign of stewardship
and sustainability. When volunteers are well supported, every
contribution goes further, capacity expands, and animals
receive consistent, compassionate care. Your support helps
build the infrastructure that turns goodwill into action and
ensures that lifesaving work continues to grow across North
Texas.
