Opening Our Doors Wider
Summer–Fall 2025
Building on early success, the SPCA of Texas expanded
community-facing events throughout 2025, including
July 4th programming, a summer family event, and Trunk
or Treat. These experiences welcomed thousands of people
into our shelters, many for the first time. Designed to be
inclusive and approachable, each event connected joy with
adoption, fostering, and education. Donor support made it
possible to staff, plan, and care for animals during these
high-energy days. Because of our supporters, the
SPCA of Texas continues to be a trusted, welcoming
community leader.
LGBTQ+ Advisory Council: Donor Support
That Expands Who Feels Welcome
Spring 2025
In 2025, donor support helped the SPCA of Texas launch its
LGBTQ+ Advisory Council, strengthening relationships with
North Texas’ LGBTQ+ community and allies. This council
ensures that programs, outreach, and events reflect the
diversity of the people who love and care for animals. For
donors, this work is about access and belonging. When more
people feel welcomed, more animals find homes, more
volunteers step forward, and community trust grows. Your
generosity helps remove barriers, deepen connection, and
ensure that compassion reaches every corner of the
community we serve.
